Bruce, I use linuxrdac-09.03.0C05.0030 to connect to quite old IBM DS4700 arrays from Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 on PE2950, PER510 & PER720 servers. I could not get Linux RDAC to compile against Oracle's Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel in OEL5 (Kernel 3.<something>) and have been told that there is no RDAC/MPP software available that is compatible for the RHEL/OL/CENTOS/SciLinux family for releases 6 or 7.
It sounds, though, as if your problem is more about limiting RDAC to the non-internal devices (ie. so it *doesn't* claim the PERC6e devices). Are there entries in /etc/modules.conf (modprobe.conf or whatever is the appropriate file on SciLinux) that limit the RDAC driver? Can you blacklist the driver from certain devices, perhaps?
