Dell - Internal Use - Confidential Darren, Ubuntu 16.04 will have community support in OMSA 8.4.0 which will be released in Q3 this year. But I saw some people running OMSA 7.4 on Ubuntu 16.04 using the method described in the blog https://kernelpanik.net/dell-omsa-7-4-on-ubuntu-16-04/ I am not really sure how good it is working, but I would rather suggest you to install once it is supported for a better experience, new features and platform support.
