Darren,
Ubuntu 16.04 will have community support in OMSA 8.4.0 which will be released
in Q3 this year.
But I saw some people running OMSA 7.4 on Ubuntu 16.04 using the method
described in the blog https://kernelpanik.net/dell-omsa-7-4-on-ubuntu-16-04/
I am not really sure how good it is working, but I would rather suggest you to
install once it is supported for a better experience, new features and platform
support.

Regards,
Prasanth K S R

Hi,

With the release of Ubuntu 16.04 Server (xenial), can we get a version of
OpenManage packaged for it? The current trusty packaging is both an old
OpenManage (version 7.4) and not installable (srvadmin-omcommon : Depends:
libsmbios2 but it is not installable).

Regards,

Darren

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for providing this. Based on this strace output, I think the number
semaphores has reached the maximum count on your server. If possible, Reboot
the server and see issue resolves.

Also, send us the output of "ipcs -s" command.

Regards
Chandra
