[EXTERNAL EMAIL] Hello,
I have a similar problem with "OpenManage || iDRAC Service Module" on a R720 running CentOS 6.10 with error "Unsupported operating system" when launching dsu -u and I can't update with Lifecycle too. I also got the warning: Inventory collector returned with partial failure. > root@chrono-svg:~ # dsu -u > DELL EMC System Update 1.7.0 > Copyright (C) 2014 DELL EMC Proprietary. > Verifying catalog installation ... > Installing catalog from repository ... > Fetching dsucatalog ... > Reading the catalog ... > Verifying inventory collector installation ... > Getting System Inventory ... > warning: Inventory collector returned with partial failure. > Determining Applicable Updates ... > > |--------DELL EMC System Update-----------| > [ ] represents 'not selected' > [*] represents 'selected' > [-] represents 'Component already at repository version (can be > selected only if -e option is used)' > Choose: q - Quit without update, c to Commit, <number> - To > Select/Deselect, a - Select All, n - Select None > [ ]1 OpenManage | iDRAC Service Module > Current Version : 3.4.0 Upgrade to : 3.5.0, Criticality : Optional, > Type : Application > > Enter your choice : a > > |--------DELL EMC System Update-----------| > [ ] represents 'not selected' > [*] represents 'selected' > [-] represents 'Component already at repository version (can be > selected only if -e option is used)' > Choose: q - Quit without update, c to Commit, <number> - To > Select/Deselect, a - Select All, n - Select None > [*]1 OpenManage | iDRAC Service Module > Current Version : 3.4.0 Upgrade to : 3.5.0, Criticality : Optional, > Type : Application > > Enter your choice : c > Fetching Systems-Management_Application_2NHY3_LN64_3.5.0_A00_02 ... > Installing Systems-Management_Application_2NHY3_LN64_3.5.0_A00_02 > Collecting inventory... > . > Running validation... > > OpenManage || iDRAC Service Module > > The version of this Update Package is newer than the currently > installed version. > Software application name: OpenManage | iDRAC Service Module > Package version: 3.5.0 > Installed version: 3.4.0 > > > Executing update... > WARNING: DO NOT STOP THIS PROCESS OR INSTALL OTHER PRODUCTS WHILE > UPDATE IS IN PROGRESS. > THESE ACTIONS MAY CAUSE YOUR SYSTEM TO BECOME UNSTABLE! > > Unsupported operating system. > > Systems-Management_Application_2NHY3_LN64_3.5.0_A00_02 could not be > installed > Done!
