Hello,

I have a similar problem with "OpenManage || iDRAC Service Module" on a
R720 running CentOS 6.10 with error "Unsupported operating system" when
launching  dsu -u and I can't update with  Lifecycle too.
I also got the warning: Inventory collector returned with partial failure.

In the log file, I got :

Executing update...
WARNING: DO NOT STOP THIS PROCESS OR INSTALL OTHER PRODUCTS WHILE UPDATE
IS IN PROGRESS.
THESE ACTIONS MAY CAUSE YOUR SYSTEM TO BECOME UNSTABLE!
Atleast one device updated: Check return 255
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<SVMExecution lang="en">
  <SPStatus result="false">
    <Message id="10">Unsupported operating system.</Message>
  </SPStatus>
</SVMExecution>
Unsupported operating system.

What is Check return 255?

Does that mean CentOS 6 is end of life for Dell ?

CentOS 6 will reach end of life in November of 2020
