Hi Stefan,
I didn't know you could do that.
I just upgraded my T630 from 2.75.100.75 to 2.80.80.80 using the RHEL7 bin
file downloaded from Dell's website and it is working fine so far:

racadm rollback <FQDD>
e.g.
racadm rollback iDRAC.Embedded.1-1
It will tell you that the rollback has been initiated, then disconnect you and
when you reconnect next time you’ll find the downgrade completed.
With racadm installed on the OS you can do it from the OS CLI as well.

Is it possible to break and salvage the iDrac from the OS CLI b running the
*.bin files?
If I run into issues, I'd like to know how to get back to a working config. :)

Hi Vincent
Thanks. Appreciate the effort.
No, I haven’t contacted Dell support.
The T630 is out of warranty and part of a cluster I’m keeping up to date
for a non-profit org in my spare time.

Hi Stefan,

2.80 a try this week. Have you contacted Dell about
the issue?

The iDRAC firmware versions you referred to are for the T640
(iDRAC9) and not applicable to the T630
(iDRAC8).
iDRAC8 firmware version 2.80.80.80 released on 11 May 2021 is
currently the latest available for the T630
and has not been revoked.

Hi,
Recently I upgraded a T630 from iDRAC firmware version
2.75.75.75 to 2.80.80.80.
After the upgrade the web interface no longer worked.
The web client received an empty reponse from port
80/tcp as well as 443/tcp.
Over SSH the iDRAC was still reachable (and showed
version 2.80.80.80).
Neither "racadm racreset soft" nor "racadm racreset
hard” helped.
Finally I used racadm to roll back to the previous
versions 2.75.75.75 and the web interface
started working again.
Has anyone experienced the same?
Does anyone have a solution to the issue?
Thanks
Stefan
