Hi all, We've just taken delivery of some new PowerEdge R710s, these are too be used as Openvz servers. I've installed the following: CentOS 5.3 x86_64 OpenVZ kernel (028stab064.4)** The latest 6.1 version of OMSA installed as per the instructions located here: http://linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/OMSA_6.1/
All is fine until I install the packages vtctl.x86_84 (version 3.0.23-1), if I installed this and then reboot the OMSA web interface on port 1311 no longer works and omreport outputs the following error: '/usr/bin/omreport: line 5: 15319 Segmentation fault /etc/delloma.d/oma/bin/omcliproxy omreport "$@"'. There are no reports of failed services and no obvious errors in the log file. We have seen this on other dell servers and the fix was to roll back to OMSA5.5 however with the R710s this doesn't appear to be an option as there is no svradmin-all package available for them in the OMSA5.5 repository. Any help would be much appreciated.
