I'm still having problems compiling the latest ppp distribution (the
one shipped as a Redhat RPM).

Ive fixed the ppp.c problem with the wrong '<' symbol (many
thanks to Andrzej for that one).
Ive worked out myself that the configure script fails to replace the
2.0.35 kernel .../drivers/net/ppp.c source.

The 2.0.35 kernel now compiles without a hitch. :)

I still can't compile the utilities in the ppp source tree, does
anyone out there know a fix for this?
