Yes.
Once you upgrade, setting up ppp demand dialing is trivial and works really
well. However, if you have unsolicited traffic coming in on your PPP link
(usually from your ISP), then pppd will never terminate the link. As an
additional bonus, because we run Linux, you can't filter these annoying
packets out (the active-filter pppd option is NOT supported under Linux, but
IS under net/freebsd)
