I'm using diald, but I'm thinking of switching to ppp 2.3.8 with demand dialing. I understand that diald has a richer ruleset for connection establishment but I don't need those features. I will save extra slip interface and it seems to me that diald is not fully compatible with 2.2.x series of kernel. Are there any drawbacks or warnings in using ppp ?
