Hi
I am using redhat 6.0 with kernel 2.2.12 and pppd 2.3.9. ppp is a module
and i load it in the sequence the how to describes it. slhc,ppp,bsd_comp.
I use kppp for the connection. The problem is i could use ppp and have
been for almost an year now. but after I rebuilt my sys with the new
distro of RH i can't get it to work.
pppd has execute privileges and the SUID bit set. it also has the group
set to
pppusers and all users are members of the group. As root i can connect
but not as any other user. Here are the logged messages for the two users
