There is an unofficial patch for the 2.2.10 & 2.2.9 kernel at http://www.unspecific.com/pub/linux/raid/ that applies cleanly. Well, I didn't actually test the 2.2.9 but the other works just fine. Solved all of the resync problems and the mkraid errors. You still have to use the --really-force flag but along with the latest version of raidtools you should be up and running with no problems. Incidentally, I installed a raid5 configuration and since then, it seems to have stabilized and all appears to be okay. I may write an informal how-to for the setup since there seems to be LOTS of confusion out there stemming from the lack of info available AND the kernel/raidtools inconsistency. All in due time, though. Regards, Taylor
