Hi,

after my RAID 5 troubles, which may have been due to a controller
(Adaptec, now replaced by a Qlogic) I built a new array, now with 8 disks
of which one is spare. Everything seems to work, but I am slightly worried
about this message from the file system (fs/buffer.c, line 870).

Jul 10 12:54:45 zorn kernel: .
Jul 10 12:54:45 zorn kernel: ... autorun DONE.
Jul 10 12:54:47 zorn kernel: buffer
Jul 10 12:54:47 zorn kernel: Attempt to refile free buffer
Jul 10 12:54:47 zorn last message repeated 493 times
Jul 10 12:54:47 zorn kernel: nr_blocks changed to 384 (blocksize 4096, j
3072, max_blocks 13325760)

Is this as it should be?
The fs was built using 64k chunks on the RAID system and the command
mke2fs -R stride=16 -m 2 -b 4096 /dev/md0

Groeten, David.
