Take your "block 842145824" and convert to hex = 32322020
So -- does your 1.5G file contain "22 " (note: that's two-two-space-space).
Is your file ASCII data??
This looks a LOT similar to my "attempt to access beyond end of device"
where the block_nr contains ASCII data.

Subject: Re: Repeatable oops from md driver with raid0 [More info]
I am using 2.2.11 with the raid patches
kernel.org/pub/linux/daemons/raid/alpha
/raid0145-19990824-2.2.11.gz.
I wiped out the old data made with an earlier version of raidtools.
I made a new raid0 array and an ext2 filesystem. After copying
a 1.5Gb file to the array, I get the following messages trying
to copy it from the array:
raid0_map bug: hash->zone0==NULL for block 842145824
Bad md_map in ll_rw_block
raid0_map bug: hash->zone0==NULL for block 842145824
Bad md_map in ll_rw_block
cp reports an input/output error. No longer any oops but
still no success. Any ideas?
