Hello!

I am using Redhat 6.1 with Kernel 2.2.13.

I use following raidtab:

>raiddev /dev/md0
>raid-level 0
>persistent-superblock 1
>chunk-size 4
>nr-raid-disks 2
>nr-spare-disks 0
>device /dev/sda7
>raid-disk 0
>device /dev/sdb6
>raid-disk 1

When i try to mkraid /dev/md0 the following message comes up:

>handling MD device /dev/md0
>analyzing super-block
>disk 0: /dev/sda7, 4096543kB, raid superblock at 4096448kB
>disk 1: /dev/sdb6, 4096543kB, raid superblock at 4096448kB
>mkraid: aborted, see the syslog and /proc/mdstat for potential clues.

I cant find any error messages in the syslog.

Has anyone any idea what can be wrong??

thank you.

Charly
