Hello there, I face'd the promblem: # mkraid /dev/md0 handling MD device /dev/md0 analyzing super-block disk 0: /dev/hdc1, 8032kB, raid superblock at 7936kB disk 1: /dev/hdd2, 8032kB, raid superblock at 7936kB mkraid: aborted, see the syslog and /proc/mdstat for potential clues. and syslog shows nothing. /proc/mdstat contains: Personalities : [3 raid1] read_ahead not set md0 : inactive md1 : inactive md2 : inactive md3 : inactive as it has to before the md0 creation. raidtools: raidtools-0.90 i'm using linux-2.2.14 kernel version. ( any patch for this kernel ?) Debian 2.2 glibc 2.1 also tested on Debian 2.1 glibc2 i've tried diferent sets of HD's and diferent sets of partitions. Nothing helps.
