Hi.

I have random problem with my out-of-the-box RedHat 6.1 Linux workstation,
with random freeze of the system (usually during the night, at 4 o'clock,
sometimes while I'm working, during intensive disk access): actually the
network board is still working, you can ping the system, but
you cannot start any process or do a remote login.

I also had the corruption of at least one file (kpanel) and during the
running of 'rpm -Va', I have systematic segmentation faults on certain
packages.
After these seg-faults, in /var/log/messages there the following kind of
error (sorry for the formatting)

There have been several of these messages over the time (but never during
the system freezes).

I'm using the 2.2.12 kernel, with raidtools-0.90-5. I have two SAMSUNG
SV0842D IDE hard-disk, with RAID1 partitions.

It is possible that these problems are related to RAID?

Thanks for you attention.
