I patched a 2.2.13 kernel with the same patch (intended for kernel .11), and got the
same rejects. Being the daredevil that I am (and it's also not a production box), I
went a head and tried it anyway, using RAID1. Everything works as expected, with
credible speeds. I even have one partition
mirrored across an IDE / SCSI pair.
I noticed that some of the error messages related to "already applied patches", even
though I had not previously applied the patch, so I guess there are parts of the .13
kernel that already include some of the patch code.
So, give it a try and see what happens -- unless of course you can't afford to lose
your data.
Cheers!
