Hi all,

I need help setting up an old RAID system with new RAIDtools:

The machine I'm working with previously had Redhat 4.2 installed on it
with a striped RAID. The OS has been upgraded to Redhat 6.1, but I can't
get the new set of raidtools to read the old RAID.

When the two devices are compared they are equal but I get error
messages like:

analyzing super-block - invalid chunk-size (0 Kb)
mkraid aborted
md: invalid raid superblock magic on sdb1
sdb1 has invalid sb, not importing
    could not import sdb1
    autostart sdb1 failed
    non-persistent superblock

Is there a way of fixing this problem ?

Thanks,
Zunaid.
