Hi,

got raid working, got lilo all set up, now how should I set up swap in
/etc/fstab?

I have 2 scsi drives set up as a raid1- this has / and /boot and the rest of
the system.

I also have an IDE drive for storage and backup.

all 3 drives have a partition set up to be swap

Right now swap is on the IDE drive.

I guess I have a few choices about how to set this up.
1) leave swap as /dev/hda2
2) move swap to /dev/sda2 or /dev/sdb2
3) join sda2 and sdb2 as md2 and put swap on the raid1
4) some combination of the above

I've been reading the archive and I can't get a clear picture as to which
way to go.

Mostly I'm looking for ressiliancy against drive failure.

thanks,

Gavin
