Hi all,

I am attempting to get RAID going along with LVM under kernel 2.2.16. I
have used RAID successfully in the past but never with LVM. I am using
Ingo's latest patch from people.redhat.com/mingo and the LVM patch located
at:
ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/andrea/lvm/aa-20000119/z-bigmem-rawio-lvm-2.2.14aa2-5.gz

The patch seems to apply fine except for a small bit in ll_rw_blk.c. I
fixed hunk 3 manually but I can't figure out hunk 4. It seems that the
md_make_request functions' parameters have changed and I'm not sure what to
give it. Has anyone got this successfully working even with an older
kernel.

The ability I am looking for is the resizing of RAID0 and RAID linear
partitions using RAID 0.90. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
If RAID could be partitioned which I'm not sure about, maybe LVM wouldn't
even be necessary. When I do an "fdisk /dev/md0" it seems to indicate that
when partitions are created they're named /dev/md0p1... However, those
device entries don't exist so I assume it's just not possible.
