Eric Youndale posted some thoughts he had about the future of SCSI
in the Linux kernel a while ago. 

I posted a patch a while ago with some janitorial cleanups that 
Eric commented on. Take a look at the archives, the subject was:

[PATCH, RFC] SCSI cleanups for 2.5

My patch raised some concern due to its size, and it depends on 
how much surgery needs to be done in order to meet Eric's 
requirements, whether it goes in or not.
