Going from 5 to 10ms is not much of a change. Try a few seconds.
The old driver used 5 seconds. The equivalent in the new driver
the equivalent is 5000.
As to the crash, without more information, I can't say what might
be causing it. There are several bugs in v6.1.5, so upgrading
to the latest may well correct the issue.
