Eugene,
You cannot be in Ultra2 and Ultra modes at the same time. Ultra2 uses
LVD (Low voltage Differential) which is different from Ultra. You can
use either single bus mode or LVD mode, but not both at the same time.
Most LVD drives can be jumpered to use single ended bus mode. Try adding
that jumper.
As for the cables, I'm not sure.
