Hi,

I have a Tangent server thats begging to have Linux installed on it.
However, its also got RAID and my gut feeling is its unsupported at this
point. In NT, the three SCSI busses show up as Symbios C810. I attempted
an install of Red Hat 5.2 today and it detected and attempted to use the
ncr53c875 driver.

However, the console reads:

ncr53c875-1: copying sript fragments into the on-board RAM
SCSI host 1 abort (pid 18) time out - resetting
SCSI bus is being rest for host 1 channel 0
ncr53c8xx_reset:  pid=18 reset_flags=2 serial_number=4994
serial_number_at_timeout=4994

(which means I've let the darn thing reset 4994 times since this morning
;)

Anyone go suggestions, confirmation that there is no driver for this or
that there is a driver in the works? I'm a bit short of real specs for
this server but I can dig some more up if that will help.

Thanks,

Kevin
