I'm having trouble with a SCSI drive that has, until recently, worked fine.

When writing to the disk I get the following errors (with data loss):

------

At first I thought it was a bad disk, so I replaced it with a similar one (a
Seagate ST32155W), did a "mke2fs -cv /dev/sda1", but I'm getting the same
errors (an "e2fsck -fc /dev/sda1" is enough to send it off), and I don't
know what to do. I tried a suggestion to disable Tagged Queueing and
Disconnect/Reconnect, but that didn't work. I don't know what could have
caused it, either (though I've recently upgraded this machine to Debian
1.0); I have found similar error reports on the newsgroups, but nobody seems
to have found a solution yet. Any help is greatly appreciated.
