Hi,
This is my first time reporting a problem related to the Linux kernel. I'm
not sure if this is the proper place to post this message,so please
forgive me if I'm creating traffic on the server.
I just update my kernel from 2.2.5 to 2.2.7 (Started with RedHat 5.2 a
long time ago). I'm running linux on a Hitachi 4350x labtop computer
(150MHz Pentium MMX, 80MB Ram, 5GB IDE Drive). I have an ADPATEC SlimSCSI
1460B PCMCIA card that I use to access my external Zip Drive, Quantum
Fireball FIREBALL_TM2110S HD, and a Ricoh MP6200S CD-RW. Under kernel
version 2.2.5 I could access these devices.
I compiled my 2.2.7 kernel using the same .config file I used for my 2.2.5
kernel.
Shown below is the dmesg output when the SCSI card is detected.

The sci aborting command continues to repeat itself until I remove the
card from the scsi. The kenrel fails to report the devices connected to
my scsi controller. Note, I also back off to kernel 2.2.6 and got the
same results.
How can I solve this probem?
Cheers,
Jay
