Hi, I could be talking about the wrong problem but the guy who
writes cdrecord talks about a "linux read ahead bug", becuause the fact
that you are not supposed to read the last 2 blocks on a Track at Once
disc.  And since Linux reads ahead to try and gain some performace,
it gets bitten by it.  Try dropping the number of blocks by 2 and see if
it works then.  The last 2 blocks on a TAO disc are just lead out anyways.
