Hello...I'm hoping someone can answer a question for me.
I've got an NEC ExpressServer 5800 with an ncr53c896 SCSI chip for the
on-board controller. Is this actually a supported chip for Linux yet? I've
looked on the compatibility list and didn't see it listed yet, but was
wondering what the status of "compatibility" might be. I'm having problems
with the box seeing external devices that are attached to an AHA-2944UW (can
only access the first 4 even though I can see all them that are out there.)

Might there be some type of conflict between different types of SCSI chips
in a box (like the NCR53c896 & the AIC7xxx)??
TIA.
Heather
