Try to decrease the DMA speed below 5 MByte/s (in the BIOS).
Also, be aware that this controller's recovery is broken: any SCSI medium error
could cause problems. If downgrading to 2.0.27 (!) fixes the problem,
your problem is in the SCSI recovery. Diff scsi.c from both versions, and
put back the | in the case switch.
