The patch is not needed in 2.3.x, since CDROMPLAYTRKIND is
emulated for both SCSI and ATAPI drives now. I suppose it
might still be useful is somebody sent the commands through
sg (or directly through one of the other channels), but
that is just to obscure to guard against.
