Thankx for ur inputs.

Actually i wanted to get IRQ routing table so that i can map the slot number
present in the table which represents the physical slot number on the
motherboard to IRQ number found in the PCI config space.
this is the approach i am trying to follow to obtain the slot number.
correct me if this assumption is wrong.

Is there any alternate way from which the physical slot number on which the
device sits on the motherboard can be obtained ?

TIA
-kiran.
