True. That's why I replaced (re-tooled) my mtio.h to match the rest of the
world. I interact with with non-linux machines -- the first time a Sun
box erases a type when you asked for it to be ejected (or viceversa) you'll
get pissed off and put it back like it should be in the first place.
Other systems predate linux by almost 30 years. Linux should not and cannot
ignore the rest of the world.
