I just recompiled aha1542 with "#define DEBUG" and am now watching it boot
up. It's sending messages to the console resembling:
aha1542_queuecommand.c : now waiting for interrupt aha1542.c: Unable to abort
command for target 0
I'm wondering if the problem with my devices may be an interrupt problem with
the computer. Since the AHA1542 is an ISA board, is it possible it's
interrupt (#11 according to /proc/interrupts) is not working or being caught
or something?
I'll post my /var/log/messages when the machine has made it all the way up.
Should be another 20 minutes or so since it has to go through seven devices,
timing out each of them twice--once to discover them and again to determine
geometry.
