That would be true for a single port board that used a [456789]50
compatible uart. Not true for a multiport board, or one with
non-550-style or generic XT-compatible uarts on it.

(PCI Rev 2.2 specification)
Base Class= 07 (simple communication controller)
Sub Class = 02 (Multiport serial controller)
Interface = 00 (no meaning)

Aside: Ted, if you weren't aware of the above (Sub) Class info
let me know. I can probably get you a copy of the PCI 2.2 Dec 18/98
spec.
