Kebanyakan distribusi dan software di Linux didistribusikan dengan License
yang disebut GNU GPL, termasuk RedHat.
Ini cuplikan-cuplikan menarik dari GNU GPL:

Beda jauh dengan License Microsoft ;)
Biasanya file License-nya bernama COPYING, di root direktori CD atau
source program. Kalau anda mendapatkan program dengan ciri ini, hak anda
dilindungi untuk mengkopikannya kepada siapapun dengan atau tanpa biaya.

Kalau source hasil download mau di-CD-kan, ada khusus HOWTO untuk itu.
Untuk RedHat coba cari di site-nya RedHat.
Kalau tidak ikut HOWTO, bisa nggak jalan, apalagi untuk bisa bootable.
