Tolong dong (banget......)
Networkcard saya Realtek 8019, sampai sekarang masih belum dikenali sama
Redhat 6.0 dengan kernel 2.2.5. Di
http://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux/docs/HOWTO/Ethernet-HOWTO disebutkan
seperti dibawah:
5.31.3. RealTek 8019
Status: Supported, Driver Name: ne (+8390)
This is a Plug and Pray version of the above. Use the DOS software to
disable PnP and enable jumperless configuration; set the card to a
sensible I/O address and IRQ and you should be ready to go. (If using
the driver as a module, don't forget to add an io=0xNNN option to
/etc/conf.modules). The rset8019.exe program can be obtained from
RealTek's WWW site at http://www.realtek.com.tw - or via ftp from the
same site.
Saya kok masih bingung bagaimana caranya mematikan Plug & Play. Maksudnya
"Use software DOS to disable PNP" itu seperti apa, ya? Atau bisa nggak
mematikan PNP dari BIOS? Terus juga gimana dong caranya ngeset cardnya
supaya sensible I/O dan IRQ-nya.
