I've had the same problem. I haven't been able to find any usable RM
cases smaller than 4U. However, a company called WebEngine
(www.webengine.com) is coming out with a dual PII system that's 1U
high. I've got a couple of demo units coming in a couple of weeks.
They have a 3.5gbit/sec backplane for doing clustering/replication/
load balancing out of the box and 2 ethernet interfaces. They're
target market is NT (blech), but I believe they're doing internal
testing with linux. I'm certainly going to load linux and do some
testing on them when I get mine. I'll keep the list posted.
