The eepro isn't perfect and is a little slow, I would suggest trying to
find a tulip based off board card.

Again onboard stuff isn't perfect I would suggest that off board scsi
should be used such as a mylex (buslogic).
The general point I think is that onboard ether / scsi is fine for cost
cutting but for simplcity and peace of mind when spending the amount of
money you are talking of offboard stuff is better.
