I have a Duel PII 450 with 1GB ram, etc etc. Moved to kern 2.2.0, then 2.2.1, and both times my IP Aliasing errors out on bootup, saying IP Aliasing not supported in this kernel. But after I boot I ifconfig eth0:1 and works fine, answers on the alias an everything. I rebuilt the kern a few times , making sure I threw in IP_ALIASING and NET_ALIASING, looks like everything I need is in, and with the aliasing working AFTER I boot, I would think everything is in the kernel. This is using Redhat 5.2.
