'top' for SMP machine

Hi,

        I have a SMP machine with kernel 2.0.36 and I am thinking about moving
to kernel 2.2.x. I have checked the SMP page, but I didn't find any
patches that specifies for kernel 2.2.x and for the 'top' command so I
can see both CPU instead of one. I am wondering if there are patches for
it out already,
