as I mentioned, I bought a bunch of things from Acme Micro. My
SC450NX chassis, the 4 xeon processors, memory, 3 9 gig ultra-2
scsi drives, etc. One scsi drive came in DOA (these are IBM
drives, 4mb cache, etc). A phone call to the sales rep and I
had a replacement bright and early the next morning. Very prompt.
Very courteous. Good prices. I didn't need "Linux support" so I can
not say much about that. I do my own linux installs and generally don't
have much in the way of problems, so 'support' has never been an issue.

But good parts and quick turnaround when something goes wrong is a
big plus. Acme Micro was very good in that regard...

I'm sure that there are lots of other good vendors as well, although
there are plenty that will give you this "yes we have it in stock"
but when you order it takes a month due to back-order delays. So
it always pays to 'check' I suppose..
