Thanks (I found the lm_sensors myself from Kragen's hint, but had to
work to do so:-). I'll look at the beowulf source too.
I agree, this belongs in the kernel because it belongs in proc. A
module sounds sensible, but if the query code is very simple and the
iospace not protected, I may try to read it directly into procd.
