I have a dual PII233. It has a pretty lazy existance as my personal
workstation. It was housed in a mid sized atx case, and was sitting
right next to annother computer for many months. Then I started
playing quake with X running as well. Quake takes 1 CPU to 97%, and X,
netscape etc was using the other a little.

To cut a long story short, for the first time the temperature warning
alarm went off twice in 2 days. I moved it into a full atx case and
removed to surplus IDE cables that had been left in the case. No
problem running quake now.

So to answer you question, get a big case or an extra fan.
