I'd like to know what dual PII motherboards anyone here is using in a
heavily loaded Linux server. I'm going to be building one that will
handle web/cgi/ftp/email/database traffic for several thousand users and
I, of course, want it to be rock solid. I will probably be putting 256MB
of RAM on it with two PII 333Mhz CPU's.
I'd like to be able to run either 2.0.(latest) or 2.1.125 (seems to be
very stable) on this machine and have it stay up for hundreds of days at a
time if at all possible.
Anyone have this type of sucess on the ASUS P2B-D board? Just curious
because a local shop has this board in stock.
If your system is rock solid I'd also be interested in knowing where you
bought your motherboard from and the price you paid for it.
Feel free to reply to me personally if you don't feel like cluttering up
the list.
Thank you,
