This is true for all 2.0.x kernels, and I don't believe Florian's patch
fixes all the problems. The "trouble" is that egcs/gcc2.8 are more
aggressive and better optimising compilers. Normally thats a good thing but
with the 2.0.x kernel it means they occasionally optimise stuff people didnt
want optimising but never marked to avoid it because of course it never
showed up. Since 2.0.x is for maximum stability it requires gcc 2.7.2, and
since Florian is kind enough to maintain a patch site for egcs users feeling
brave 8) it lists it
