yes, and apparently using the current Intel MPS spec. this is somewhat
perplexing, since it begs: why didn't AMD do this years ago?

correct. the K6-3 would be a dandy entry into the low-budget multiprocessor
niche left open by Intel's marketing of the Celeron.

compiling 2.1.130, with 56 "=y"'s in my .config, my PII/266 takes
326.01user 19.93system 5:46.82, whereas my K6-2/300 takes
304.46user 23.56system 5:30.23. both have 64M sdram, though the K6-2's
running its at 100. both have UDMA disks.
