I'd like to express my appreciation to those who responded so quickly with good
advice. I'm going to try this advice this evening or tomorrow night on my 2nd
Dell 2300 (which is still in the box), and see if I can make it work.
As for opening this can of worms about support w/Dell & RH, I do apologize. I
had no intention of causing either of these two companies to be flamed in a
public forum, and should have kept their names under wraps. However, when I
consider the amount of support available from the Linux community, I see that I
should have just turned here first.
