Hi

I had a system running SMP on kernel 2.0.36 very fine for weeks by
looking at applications and so on.
I think the problem does not belong to the aic7xxx (by the way you can
get the latest version at ftp.redhat.com).
I wonder, why bogomips for the first cpu are only 4 and not 450 (seems
that you have running two PII-450).
Maybe it has something to do with the MTRR-option (for wrong "biosses");
I think the 2.0.36 has this option (can't prove it right now), if not
you can get a kernel from ftp.suse.de with the option built in
(2.0.36-largefd kernel).
