that can address > 1GB as well. We are about to test a 2GB system.

RedHat 5.2 should take 1GB - some MB. But you may need some customized
configuration. Some 5.2 distribution boot disk does not boot for 1GB.
But you can install the system by using 768MB, then add memory back.
Or you can find correct boot disk image from RH web, which boots 1GB
system.

I don't have much experience on RH 5.2. We decided skip 5.2 to wait for 6.0.
