Hi,

I think you have everything hardwired in the kernel; make some drivers
and option loadable as modules and kernelsize will decrease.
If it is still over 500 kB you can make a "make bzlilo". But I have
never seen a kernelsize of 1,4 MB - you must have compiled in
everything.
