I don't know anything about this machine (never seen it) but if you have
the possibility
to unpack the kernel code on another machine (it is a gzipped tar-file,
which SCO should
be able to extract, or any other UNIX system) you can look into the
documentation directory
of it (linux/Documentation). There some files concerning SMP.
If you are looking for general information for setting up linux on the
DEC... I can't
help you.
Once there was a method by doing a diskdump (dd)... but this belonged to
the first releases
of MkLinux for HP-PaRISC-Processors and setting up linux on HP PaRISC
machines without a
floppy or a bootable cd.
